Learn from the master!

"Anyone can live with the knowledge that they have an incurable disease, but no one can live with the thought that they as persons are hopeless." Cathleen Fanslow-Brunjes

Take this rare opportunity to spend a whole day learning from Cathy Fanslow-Brunjes!
Anyone who has learned, offered or benefited from the Hand Heart Connection associates it with Cathy. It is an unexpected avenue to the depth of feelings that accompany any loss.  Many have confided that 'It made such a difference', or "She didn't say much but she asked if she could hold my hand and then a peaceful feeling spread over me and I felt calmer in that moment than I have in a long time."

CATHLEEN FANSLOW-BRUNJES, RN, MA, CNS is an internationally acclaimed expert in the fields of death, dying, grief, nursing, and hospice care. A student and former colleague of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Cathy has been an invited lecturer and workshop leader throughout the US and Canada and in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and England.  Over a period of 35 years, Cathy has worked with more than 40,000 dying persons, their families, their caregivers, and the professional staffs involved with them.

"Cathy models the attitudes so needed in caring for the dying...the allowing, the acceptance of others - of who they are and where they are in their life's journey and how we can fit with that to make their end days seamless and safe. Learning this gives us a confidence in the face of end-of-life care that is a blessing for the dying and their loved ones. We know the concerns of the dying are huge, yet we learn from Cathy how we can meet those needs while remaining confident, helpful and caring." Evelyn MacKay, Hospice Volunteer
