Gail Lafortune is a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). Her healing journey began in 1990 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In 1991 she personally received a Therapeutic Touch session which TOUCHED her very deeply and changed her life forever. Gail has been passing on the gift of Therapeutic Touch since 1991 to others through her practice. She became a Recognized Teacher in 1997. Gail has an active Therapeutic Touch practice in Ottawa, seeing clients in her home, in hospital and in client's homes. She is dedicated to serving her community as well as increasing the acceptance of Therapeutic Touch as a complementary healing modality in main stream medicine. Gail’s latest accomplishment, one, a legacy that she will leave behind, and a further contribution to the Therapeutic Touch® healing modality, is her first book, "Heal to Be Free: Therapeutic Touch Healing Stories", published in July 2021.
