Caledon Spring Fling

To get into the spirit of the TTNO Spring Fling, members of the Caledon branch who were able joined a meditation/drumming circle taking place in the community in honour of the spring equinox. The event was initially organized to raise funds for Bethell Hospice and the drumming was being led by TT member Dale Cimolai. We joined in. It proved to be a wonderful evening for reflective meditation, raising awareness of the power of vibration and community building. Therapeutic Touch in Mexico

Malia C. Ronderos has been on vacation in Mexico. While there, she met with the head of the Oncology Department at the Hospital de la Niñez Oaxaqueña in a small village near the capital city of Oaxaca. She offered to provide Therapeutic Touch to the nurses who are at the forefront of the cancer unit. Malia’s offer was welcomed as the need to provide support for the nurses is well-recognized. 2019 TTNO Spring Fling

The TTNO is having a "spring fling" fundraiser on March 21. Participate knowing that your TT friends are doing what they love on the same day, whether it be getting outdoors or doing an activity inside. Your choice! Donate by the hour or by the "goal". For example: If you choose to walk your dog for one hour, decide how much you would like to donate for that time. TT at Fleming College Health Fair

Once again the TTNO Peterborough Branch were present at the Fleming College Health Fair, , raising awareness about Therapeutic Touch. The event was held on Thursday Feb. 7th, 2019.  The goal of this Health Fair is to raise staff and student awareness of the wide range of health promoting services, programs and supports available in the community. Picton Seniors Learn About TT

On February 28, Alison Cooke spoke to a small gathering of seniors at the Picton Community Care for Seniors offices. A PowerPoint presentation introduced the group to Therapeutic Touch, its benefits and background. Following the presentation, Alison gave a TT treatment to one of the participants. Questions followed. Alison will be teaching Level 1 Therapeutic Touch at this location over two days, April 15 & 17.

Central West Palliative Care Network Conference November 2018

Therapeutic Touch sessions were offered to participants and reps at the Central West Palliative Care Network Conference in Brampton. Zoomer Conference, Toronto 2018

Congratulations to Marlene George who once again facilitated a very successful Wellness Health Fair October 27-28 at the now annual Zoomer Conference in Toronto. Marlene was happy to report that 38 practitioners from a variety of modalities participated in the two day event and that 460+ attendees took advantage of the opportunity to have a session with these amazing volunteers.
